SST Swimmers Represent Well for Area High Schools

Tuscaloosa, AL December 9, 2006: Sheffield Swim Team swimmers represent well for Shoals Area High Schools last weekend at Alabama High School Athletic Association Swimming Championships. 

After taking off from swim practice for her High school volley ball, George Smith just started practice last month and she brings Muscle Shoals High School bronze in girls 100 Freestyle from the meet.  She also finishes 5^th in 50 Freestyle.  Similarly, Marry Katherine Waddell had been missing swim practices and still finishes 7^th in Girls 100 Freestyle and 8^th in 50 Freestyle for Florence High School.  Molly Waddell places 4^th in 200 Freestyle and 5^th in 100 Butterfly among her 7^th graders for Florence High School. Megan Spencer, Erin Lennartz teamed up with the Waddell girls for Florence High School and finished A-Final 6^th in 200 Freestyle relay and B-Final 2^nd in 200 Medley Relay.  Zach Hyde also represents Florence High School at the meet.  Krystan Perry and Nick Lynch swum for Muscle Shoals High School finish 1^st in girls 500 Freestyle, 3^rd in girls 100 Butterfly, and 5^th in boys 100 Backstroke, 6^th in boys 100 Butterfly among their fellow 7^th and 10^th graders respectively.  Olivia Larkin places 10th in 100 Butterfly for Mars Hill High School. TrayLe Roberson and Jake Whitten are the sole representitive from Wilson Hill High School and Deshler High School repectively.
